I passed my one-week trial at this cleaning company and got my uniform yesterday. I got my raise yesterday too, I forgot to tell everyone that last night. I thought it was a one-time thing, and I wasn’t going to get the raise until next week. We did two jobs today and I had two new people with me, that didn’t know how to take directions very well, but that’s fine we can work on that. Patricia told me I was to help them if they needed it. I had to go look for them once and they were cleaning the windows I already cleaned instead of going to the back of the house they went to the side I already did. I explained to them that I had one side, and they had another and we were supposed to meet in the back porch. So, they came to the back porch and helped me finish those windows and we got all the windows done at that house in about 3 hours and then we went to another house when people were there as we cleaned the house. I told the crew I would dust and wipe everything down, while one did the kitchen and the other did the bathrooms. The one who was doing the bathrooms stopped cleaning them and started vacuuming half the house before she went back to cleaning. I was getting a little bit annoyed because I noticed the one was slowly moving and cleaning and kept wanting smoke breaks. She was dragging out the clock. Which I don’t like that and then I would start mopping and would mop areas we didn’t need to walk through. and she would walk through the areas. I really hope they are not on my crew. And I really hope I end up becoming a lead and getting another raise. I hope she gives me more hours this week. And I hope I can get at least one more new client for our business. I’m going to post an ad on Facebook groups tomorrow or Monday. I want to make it a day I can answer the phone just in case someone calls or messages me on Facebook. I know I keep writing late at night and I do apologize about that. I just have been busy working at least two or three jobs a day lately. My body is killing me right now. I need to go make me something to eat and get to bed. I’ve got church in the am, and then a cleaning job, and after that I got to go straight to taco bell and work until 11 pm, tomorrow. I have to see if dad wants to sit tomorrow while I’m cleaning and then I’ll pick him up and then drop him off by taco bell while I work. He’s been stuck at the house for days, so I know he’s going crazy. So, I’ll let him walk around and talk to people like he does. I really hope dad and mom are still here when I get married and have another baby. And they don’t take this one because we will be on our feet running our business together and killing it with all the clients we will have within a few months. I’m betting that within 3 months of Shawn getting out and we get licensed and insurance right away, we will have to hire 3 people because we will have that many clients to take care of. That’s my goal anyways. And within 6 months I’ll need to hire another 4 people, so I have 4 crews of two each, and we will be covering the entire citrus county. My goal is by the end of next year we can expand the area to sumter county, and hernando county too. We will add one county at a time. That’s my goal at least. That way we can have 3 offices, one in each county and our website, and facebook, twitter, and instagram too. Plus, our blog will be out there more. I’ve got so many plans with this business. I will do anything from window cleaning to deep cleaning, from installing fire alarms to completely remodeling inside or outside the house, including landscaping and gardening. We are going to be doing it all! Nothing too big or too small, We can do it all! Including HVAC work because Shawn is the best A/C man I know. He could tell you what’s wrong with it just by the sound and can tell you what brand and year just by the picture of the serial number area.

Anyways, we are going to do something a little different starting today. Every day, I will post a word up here and write about it. Then, I want everyone to reply to the post about what that word means to them. It’s very simple, but at same time it can get pretty deep, and you will learn a little bit more about yourself. So, the word of the day is………SERENITY

To me, when I hear this word, I think of the prayer asking for Serenity to accept the things we cannot change. Which is something I need to work on. Shawn does need to work on this as well. Because neither one of us can handle not being able to control what happens in life. We like things to go a certain way and when it don’t go that way we panic. He does more than me but that’s okay. I might get frustrated sometimes at him for driving me nuts with his anxiety when it gets overwhelming, but I wouldn’t change him for anyone else in this world, So to me Serenity is the calm among the storms. Because the Lord let’s us all go through storms in our lives to either learn something or test us, and when we don’t learn what we were supposed to learn the first storm, then we will just keep going through the same storm until we finally wake up and realize what we were supposed to realize the first time around.
